Step 1. Clean the Surface

If you want your vinyl monogram decals to properly stick to your desired surface, you need to ensure that the surface is clean. Any residue left on the surface could affect the adhesion of the decal. Windex works for most surfaces.

Step 2. Stick the Decal to the Transfer Paper

Take a flat and hard item (such as a credit card) and rub it over the surface of the decal to ensure that it is sticking to the transfer paper. Slowly pull of the transfer paper. If any part of the decal is not sticking to the transfer paper, continue rubbing it with your credit card.

Step 3. Place the Decal on Your Item

Once you’ve successfully stuck the decal to the transfer paper, slowly place the decal onto your desired item. Should bubbles form, use a credit card or a hard and flat item to rub out to the bubbles.

Step 4. Remove the Transfer Paper

After you’ve completed Step 3, slowly pull the transfer paper away from the decal. The decal should remain on your item.
